AppAnalyticsSo Apple has added a new feature (in beta for those that got the invite) to iTunes Connect. It is called App Analytics and before you say, “well I have Flurry or Parse so I don’t need this”, think again.

Apple App Analytics is different because it shows you information that up until now you had no way of knowing. Information on store views. This is really important for App SEO because you can start seeing how many people are landing on your App landing page inside the App Store. The next column over shows how many downloads so really you are getting the stats to show you customer acquisition. This many people say the app and of that many this many downloaded. Really nice information. I don’t know about you but I always wondered how many people actually stumbled upon my apps in the store, especially when some apps get a lot of downloads and some don’t at all.

If you received the email from Apple a few days ago and haven’t asked to be a member of the beta I would highly suggest you signup and see what you have been missing all this time.
